The ceremony is held in Auditorium Maximum — the University of Warsaw’s largest hall — in the presence of the University authorities, the Dean, professors, guests of honour, and the entire academic community. The highlight of the event is the matriculation and the inaugural lecture delivered each year by a distinguished guest — a prominent lawyer, scholar, or public figure.
