The University of Warsaw has received PLN 1,163,275.00 from the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) for the implementation of the project "Artificial Intelligence and Algorithmic Management: A Series of Intensive International Education Programmes (IMPK)" (BPI/SPI/2024/1/00079) within the SPINAKER programme. The project is being jointly implemented by the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw.

The programme is financed by NAWA from European funds within the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 (FERS).

The project aims to enhance the quality of education at the University of Warsaw through the implementation of a series of four IMPK — summer and winter schools — in the disciplines of legal sciences and management sciences. Topics include: introduction to AI, AI ethics, AI and effective organisational management, comparative legal regulations of AI, AI in the administration of justice, directions for AI development and legal limitations, and the use of AI in research and teaching.

The programmes are short (approximately 60 didactic hours), yet intensive courses delivered in English in a blended learning format by lecturers from world-leading universities. Each IMPK is dedicated to approximately 20 international students and doctoral candidates; a limited number of participants from Poland may also attend.
