About the Centre

A Polish platform for space law.

The Manfred Lachs Centre for Space Law was established on the basis of a Letter of Intent signed on 29 May 2017 at the Tyszkiewicz-Potocki Palace. It brings together academic institutions and public administration bodies in order to advance research and knowledge of space law.

Goals and mission

A common platform for academic and administrative cooperation

The dynamic development of space technologies opens up new opportunities in the technical, legal and economic dimensions of science. The Centre brings together researchers and practitioners who study the space sector and raise public awareness of the opportunities it offers. Its aim is to build a common platform for the exchange of information and the joint organisation of conferences and events that inspire new generations of scholars.
