Why Warsaw

Studywherethe lawhappens.

Courts, law firms, ministries, newsrooms, corporations — Warsaw is a place where law is not a textbook concept.

Here you live five minutes from the Supreme Court, ten from a Big Four law firm and fifteen from the Vistula. You choose a city where your studies have an address and weight.

A map where every address means something.

Warsaw hosts all the most important state institutions, the largest law firms, and Polish and international corporations that recruit among FLA UW students and graduates. Internships, traineeships, a first job — all in one city.

02 — A city for life

Simply beautiful.

It is a mistake to think Warsaw is just grey office blocks. Green parks, the Old Town, the Vistula boulevards and neighbourhood cafés — places you return to after lectures.

03 — Student life

Warsaw is cheaper than you think.

You don't have to spend a fortune to live here. UW runs its own network of dormitories at prices hard to find on the commercial market — and the scholarship system genuinely lifts the financial burden off students.

UW Dormitories

Your own room. Five stops from the campus.

The University of Warsaw runs a network of student dormitories at prices where you couldn't rent even a studio flat in Warsaw. Priority is given to people from smaller towns and those in more difficult financial situations.

A city you won't exhaust.

Even if you went every evening to a different club, a different bar and a different cinema — five years of studies wouldn't be enough to see it all. We hope you'll try.
