Professor in the Department of Labour Law and Social Policy at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw (since 2009), attorney at the Bar Association in Warsaw. Between 2009 and 2018 worked in the Labour Chamber, Social Security and Public Affairs of the Supreme Court, initially as an assistant judge and then – assistant specialist for jurisprudence – a member of the Office for Studies and Analysis of the Supreme Court.
Author and co-author of over 140 scientific publications, including monographs: Group of companies in the light of labour law, Warsaw 2019, Ostensibility in contractual employment relations, Warsaw 2010, comments: Commentary on the Labour Code (together with Prof. Małgorzata Gersdorf and Prof. Krzysztof Rączka, 2 editions), Social sickness and accident insurance, edited by Krzysztof Rączka. M. Gersdorf and B. Gudowska, ed. Ch Beck, Warsaw 2012), Commentary on the Act on the Employment of Temporary Workers (ed. LexisNexis, Warsaw 2013). He is also the co-author of a commentary on the Civil Code (ed. K. Osajda, ed. Ch Beck), presenting the interdisciplinary, practical environment of civil law obligations (the perspective of labour law and social security). Author of studies in collective works as well as a number of articles, glossaries and other papers published in renowned national law journals (Praca i Zabezpieczenie Społeczne, Państwo i Prawo, Przegląd Prawa Handlowego). He delivered 15 papers at national and international scientific conferences.
An experienced academic lecturer at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw with over 15 years of experience in various didactic forms (lectures, exercises, workshops, seminars, postgraduate classes) dedicated to various groups of students. Lecturer of many training courses.
Combines his research interests with legal practice in the field of labour law both within the framework of common and specific labour law. Advises on individual and collective labour law matters. Creates solutions for typical and unique issues requiring specialisation, such as working time of flying personnel or restructuring issues in groups of companies. Has participated in collective bargaining and concluding collevtive agreements. Represents the principals of the law firm in litigation before courts of all instances.
Winner of the main prize in the competition of “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna" Golden Wings 2010 in the category: Labour and Social Security Law (October 2011) and Individual Rector Award of the University of Warsaw, 2 degree (November 2011).
