Agreement between the Faculty of Law and Administration and the Instytut Wymiaru Sprawiedliwości – research and didactic cooperation
We are pleased to announce that on 6th July 2026, the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw entered into a cooperation agreement with the Instytut Wymiaru Sprawiedliwości.
The document was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw, dr hab. Sławomir Żółtek, prof. ucz., and the Director of the Instytut Wymiaru Sprawiedliwości, dr hab. Piotr Rylski, prof. ucz.
The purpose of the agreement is to initiate and develop scientific, research and didactic cooperation. This will include, in particular, the popularisation of science and education, the joint organisation of conferences, seminars, workshops and other scientific, research and training events, as well as the mutual participation of representatives of both institutions in the initiatives undertaken.
Thanks to the concluded agreement, students of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw will have the opportunity to undertake internships and apprenticeships at the Instytut Wymiaru Sprawiedliwości, which will allow them to expand their knowledge and gain valuable professional experience. Researchers and doctoral students will be able to cooperate in the implementation of research projects, in particular concerning the functioning of the justice system and the analysis of judicial practice.
The agreement creates a space for the exchange of knowledge, experience and best practices between the academic community and the institution conducting research on the administration of justice. This cooperation will contribute to a better integration of scientific activity with practice, as well as to the development of new research and educational initiatives.
