Agreement with Maciej Panfil i Partnerzy Law Firm

The cooperation between the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and representatives of legal practice is another way of combining academic knowledge with experience gained in the daily work of a lawyer. On 29 September 2026, WPiA UW concluded a cooperation agreement with Kancelaria Panfil.

Maciej Panfil i Partnerzy Law Firm has been providing legal services to entrepreneurs and institutions operating in various sectors of the economy for over 20 years, with a particular focus on the financial sector. A significant part of the Firm's practice involves debt collection and conducting litigation, including those concerning sanctions for free credit (SKD) and foreign currency loans. The Firm also has experience in the area of restructuring and bankruptcy, as well as in handling criminal cases. It also supports entrepreneurs with ongoing legal advice, combining procedural experience with knowledge of business realities and conditions.

The signed agreement opens up space for joint initiatives that will allow students to better understand the practical dimension of law. Plans include conferences and workshops, as well as the development of opportunities for internships and gaining professional experience.

For WPiA UW, cooperation with partners representing various areas of legal practice is also an opportunity to exchange experiences and look at law from a perspective beyond the lecture hall. Such meetings allow for confronting knowledge gained during studies with the real challenges faced by lawyers and entrepreneurs today.

The agreement with Kancelaria Panfil is another step in developing the Faculty's relations with its socio-economic environment and expanding the space where academia meets practice. We hope that it will be the beginning of many joint projects and valuable experiences for the entire WPiA UW Community.
