About the journal

Five decades of Polish legal thought.

Studia Iuridica is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw — the oldest and one of the most distinguished law faculties in Poland. The periodical constitutes a forum for scholarly debate devoted to contemporary issues of law, the state and public administration, combining the long-standing tradition of Polish legal scholarship with a modern, international perspective on juridical research.

The journal has been published continuously since 1974 and for more than five decades has been contributing to the academic output of the legal community of the University of Warsaw. Its pages feature contributions by scholars from various academic institutions in Poland and abroad, as well as by eminent legal practitioners.
