Student Society for the Legal Professions

Cooperation between WPiA UW and the legal professions — advocates, attorneys-at-law, bailiffs and notaries — as well as with courts, the prosecutor's office and the Alumni Club includes meetings with representatives of the legal professions, workshops, simulations and student participation in selected classes held within professional legal apprenticeships. These initiatives help students better understand the conditions, specifics and realities of the work of lawyers in each profession, and thus support informed, thoughtful and responsible planning of their own professional path.

Critical Club 115

Critical Club 115 is a research society unlike any other. We build an academic community of students and doctoral candidates that questions established views about what law is and how society makes use of it. Aware of the necessary link between law, ideology, politics and culture, we create a space for critical reflection that — in our view — is missing from a curriculum focused on legal dogmatics and the future practice of the legal professions. Our mission is to deepen the bonds between members of Critical Club 115. We support one another in academic, intellectual and cultural development, and we nurture friendship. Although the Society was officially registered at the Faculty of Law and Administration in 2025, its history reaches back several years, when — together with our supervisor, dr hab. Cezary Błaszczyk — we began meeting regularly in several formats that together can be described as "law and ideology".
