Cooperation agreement with Domański Zakrzewski Palinka law firm

Domański Zakrzewski Palinka (DZP) law firm has joined the group of partners of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. This is an important step in the development of cooperation between the academic community and legal practice, opening new opportunities for students, doctoral candidates and academic staff of WPiA UW.

DZP is one of the largest and most renowned Polish law firms, providing comprehensive legal and tax advisory services for more than 30 years to entities operating in almost all sectors of the economy. Thanks to a team of experts representing more than 40 specialisations, the firm combines high substantive competence with an excellent understanding of business realities.

The partnership will encompass joint research and teaching initiatives, as well as activities serving the exchange of knowledge and experience between legal practitioners and the academic community. The cooperation will create space for projects addressing contemporary legal and regulatory challenges, in particular in areas related to new technologies, financial markets, energy, healthcare, competition law and compliance.

Thanks to the involvement of DZP experts, WPiA UW students will gain additional opportunities for contact with professional practice through lectures, workshops, seminars and participation in projects carried out jointly by the Faculty and the firm. The cooperation will also make it possible to develop new formats of educational and outreach activity, strengthening the links between academia, business and the practice of law.
