Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw.
Between 2015 and 2019, he worked at the Office of the Ombudsman, where, amongst other things, he headed the work of the Legislative and Constitutional Affairs Division of the Criminal Law Team. He represented the Ombudsman in proceedings before the Constitutional Tribunal and acted in an advisory capacity during the legislative process.
Author of numerous legal opinions commissioned by public authorities. Member of the Office for Studies and Analysis at the Supreme Court.
From 2022 to 2024, he served as Deputy Ombudsman.
His academic interests focus on the theory and philosophy of criminal law and the ethical legitimacy of state coercion.
