About the speaker:

Dr. Uladzislau Belavusau is Senior Researcher in European Law at the T.M.C. Asser Institute (the Hague) - University of Amsterdam (the Netherlands). Previously, he was Assistant Professor of European law and human rights at the University of Amsterdam (2016) and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (2011-2015). He holds a Ph.D. from the European University Institute (Florence, Italy) and an LL.M. from the Collège d’Europe (Bruges, Belgium). His research and teaching cover varios areas of EU (especially constitutional and anti-discrimination) law, human rights, comparative constitutionalism and memory politics. Read the full bio
