Open seminar with Dr Martin Kelly from the University of Edinburgh Law School on "Uncommunicative Legislating"
The Chair of Legal Philosophy and State Studies at the Faculty of Law,
University of Warsaw,
invites you to participate in an open seminar with Dr Martin Kelly from the University of Edinburgh Law School,
who will present his insights on "Uncommunicative Legislating".
In his talk Maritn will argue that legislating is not an act of communication but should be understood through "notional content"—what a notional person interprets—thereby resolving issues with legislative intention.
The seminar will take place on 24 October at 4:45 PM, both on-site and online.
