CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

for the international interdisciplinary conference
„Insight into Family and Home”

The conference will take place on the 16 th September 2024 (Monday)
at the Faculty of Law and Administration University of Warsaw
Time: 10 am - 6 pm
aula A3, Collegium Iuridicum II at 4 Lipowa Street in Warsaw

Invited key-note speakers are: prof. Agnieszka Nogal (Faculty of Philosophy,
University of Warsaw) and prof. Catherine Pakaluk (The Busch School of Business,
Catholic University of America).

The aim of the conference is to elaborate upon the private sphere, its
contemporary and historical relevance, and the relationship with the public sphere. The
suggested topics of the conference should analyse the subjects of family and home,
within an interdisciplinary perspective, such as: law, philosophy, social sciences,
economics, anthropology, psychology, management, political sciences, history, ethics,
religious and cultural studies.

Conference fee (active participation, with paper presentation): 100 euro (or 425 PLN)
Passive participation, without paper presentation: free of charge
The deadline for submitting abstracts (max. 300 words): 31 st July 2024
Decisions on proposals’ acceptance: 15 th August 2024

Selected papers will be published in the monograph, by the publishing house from the
list of publishers (level II) of the Polish Minister of Science and Higher Education.

Publications from the previous conferences on various aspects of feminism, organized at
the Faculty of Law and Administration University of Warsaw, are included in the journal
